Growing up in a very Irish Catholic family in New York, I was always very proud of my Irish roots. In June 2017, my childhood friends and I boarded a plane to Dublin for an adventure of a lifetime. Prior to the trip, my friend and I had been thinking of ways we could remember this trip in a new and unique way. I had always wanted a tattoo and knew I wanted it to represent my Irish roots so we decided to get tattoos in Dublin.
We landed in Dublin and a few hours later we walked in the doors of The Ink Factory. I decided I wanted to get a celtic knot on my wrist. I wanted it in a place I could always see it. Iain was great and made me feel very comfortable for my first tattoo. I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo! Sometimes when life gets tough or its a long day at work, I look down at my wrist and smile remembering my trip to Ireland and the beautiful county. It reminds me what it means to be Irish and I couldn’t be prouder of my roots!
